Tasks and actions relating to restructuring armed forces discussed.

SANA'A, Jan.25 (Saba)- The team charged with restructuring of the Defense Ministry and armed forces held Friday a joint meeting with the Jordanian and American assistant military teams.

The meeting, which was chaired by head of the restructuring team Staff Brigadier Nasser Ali al-Harbi, discussed the plan and the mechanism of action required to complete the tasks and actions relating to the restructuring of the armed forces.

It reviewed a number of issues and procedures related to the new structure of the armed forces and the new division of the operations theater and the coming tasks of the restructuring team and helping teams.

In this regard, the meeting approved the order of the tasks according to their priority and focusing on the main tasks related to the operational, tactical and logistic aspects through a plan and mechanism of action to ensure the completion of restructuring tasks and building qualitative armed forces.

Head of the Jordanian team Maj. Gen. Farghal pointed ,during the meeting, to the importance of training and qualifying Yemeni military cadres side by side, so as to serve the building of the Yemeni armed forces on the purely national basis.

The Staff Brigadier al-Harbi affirmed the need for patience and flexibility in dealing with the inflation happening in the armed forces, Pointing to the importance of benefiting from the expertise and experiences of the Jordanian brothers and the American friends.
