Tanzania : MoU inked between DAR ICT hub and SILICON VALLEY chamber of commerce.

Dar Es Salm premier ICT incubation hub, called Dar Teknohama Business Incubator (DTBi) and Silicon Valley Black Chamber of Commerce s Centre (SVCED) have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote partnership in a number of ways for the growth of entrepreneurs.

According to DTBi Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Eng George Mulamula, the MoU would take in exchange programmes to raise business and entrepreneurial growth for new job opportunities creation.

After signing the MoU with the US based chamber of Commerce, he said: This cooperation is expected to contribute and strengthen the role of ICT in promoting young entrepreneurs for achieving Tanzania socio-economic transformation and sustainable development.

Eng Mulamula said that the teamwork would let Tanzania entrepreneurs to take advantage of the skills and know-how of the Silicon Valley entrepreneurial spirit and that this would help the country by increasing the entrepreneurial and technical skills of startups to grow.
