Tammy Carnrike joins chamber leadership team.
Carnrike had been president and CEO of the Chenango County Chamber of Commerce in Norwich, N.Y., for the past 10 years and a member of the Chenango management team for nine years prior.
"I've never seen Tammy in a role where she didn't rise to the top," said Richard E. Blouse Jr., CCE, president and CEO. "She has the mark of a true leader, and we're excited to have her as part of our team."
In her nearly two decades with the Chenango Chamber, Carnrike expanded the organization's programs, membership and scope. Her deep understanding of the region and its business needs, combined with her knowledge of best practices and national trends, fueled the Chamber's growth.
Carnrike, a graduate of the Institute for Organization Management and a Certified Chamber Executive, succeeds Tami Door, who is now president and CEO of the Downtown Denver Partnership.
