Highland Fling Bungee pioneered bungee jumping in Scotland and opened the UK's first permanent bridge bungee jump over the River Garry, Killiecrankie, in 2011.

The jump is an adrenalinepacked, free-fall experience led by qualified "bungee jump masters". Now they have introduced the exciting concept of paired bungee jumps from Garry Bridge.

Highland Fling Bungee managing director Murray Trail said: "We had seen tandem bungee jumps taking off in other parts of the world, especially in New Zealand and South Africa.

"We thought we would give it a try in Scotland and the response in the first few months has been amazing.

"We rarely have a weekend when there aren't at least two or three tandem jumps."

Murray sees two types of tandem bungee jumpers.

He said: "The bookings are either couples celebrating an important milestone or people who just need a bit more support to do something exhilarating.

"What we've found is that there is always one person more prepared than the other and they help each other.

"Everyone enjoys it in the end, even if they do need a bit of coaxing to step off the edge."

Anything else to know?
