Take part in a snowball fight - without getting cold and wet.
A new virtual reality experience that will let visitors climb Snowdon and take part in a treasure hunt using smartphones will feature as part of a campaign to boost visitor numbers to Cardiff this Christmas.
FOR Cardiff, formerly known as Cardiff BID - the Welsh capital's Business Improvement District - has announced a PS50,000 Christmas campaign to promote the city to visitors as a top destination for shopping, dining, nightlife and family entertainment.
And as part of the push, a new virtual reality experience will be offered to tourists, letting visitors explore new parts of the city and beyond - all without stepping foot outside.
The experience, created by Orchard 360, will allow people go on a sleigh ride with Father Christmas, climb to the top of Mount Snowdon or take part in a winter wonderland snowball fight as part of The Capital VR experience.
Adrian Field, executive director of FOR Cardiff, said: "We're really excited to share Cardiff's first ever VR and AR experiences with people, nothing like this has been tried in the capital before and we hope it will give visitors something else to look forward to when visiting the city."
Pre-sale tickets for the VR experience will be available from Friday from cardiffvrxmas.com.
