Tajikistan welcomes India's interest as partner in trade pact - FM.

Tajikistan welcomed India's interest in becoming the fourth partner in Pakistan-Afghanistan-Tajikistan trade and transit agreement, Tajikistan's Foreign Minister Sirojidin Aslov said May 12 within his visit to India.

Aslov also said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Tajikistan will give "new impetus" to the bilateral ties.

His remarks came days within Modi conveying India's readiness to join the pact to Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani during his recent visit to India, reports the Economic Times.
