The Taiwan Fund Inc (NYSE:TWN) reported on Monday that it repurchased a total of 11,180 shares under its Discount Management Program, for the period from 5 November to 9 November 2018.

Accordingly, the company bought back 2,795 shares on 5 November, 2,795 shares on 6 November, 2,795 shares on 8 November and 2,795 shares on 9 November 2018.

A diversified closed-end management investment company, the fund concentrates its investments in the securities listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. Its portfolio includes common stocks, commercial papers and repurchase agreements.

The Taiwan Fund's investment adviser is HSBC Investments (Taiwan) Limited.
