Tai Chi 4th training session held at China Cultural Center.

ISLAMABAD -- Tai Chi Chinese Martial Art 4th training session was held here at China Cultural Centre on Wednesday.

A series of training sessions of famous Chinese Martial art was arranged by China Cultural Centre in collaboration with CRI.

More than 40 people from different walks of life attended the 4th training session, conducted by Chinese Tai Chi Master Mr Kevin.

The participants highly appreciated the initiative by the Embassy of China and China Cultural Centre to educate them with famous Chinese martial art.

Tai Chi Master Kevin expressed pleasure that the participants are taking keen interest in learning of Tai Chi. He said that Tai Chi is an internal Chinese martial art, practiced for both its defense training and its health benefits.

The term Taiji refers to a philosophy of the forces of yin and yang, related to the moves. Though originally conceived as a martial art, it is also typically practiced for a variety of other personal reasons: competitive wrestling in the format of pushing hands, demonstration competitions.
