Tahir-ul-Qadri's demands termed unconstitutional.
QUETTA -- The leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-N Balochistan Saturday strongly criticized chairman Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Alama Tahir-ul-Qadri for putting unconstitutional demands to derail democracy in the country.
Deputy Secretary General, Pakistan Muslim League-N Balochistan chapter, Syed Abbas Shah Gilani said that Alama Tahir-ul-Qadri was working on a hidden agenda to derail democracy, for which he demanded for dissolving the Parliament and the resignations of elected Prime Minster and a Chief Minister.
"The people of Pakistan gave heavy mandate to Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to form the government and complete five years' tenure. The PAT chief who even has no single representative of his party in the parliament has put unconstitutional demands for resignations of Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, and Chief Minister of Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif to fulfill the hidden and unconstitutional agenda," he said.
He said that it was right of the members of the Parliament to move motion of no trust against a Prime Minster and Chief Minister, adding that a person who is Canadian national and has no his representation in the Parliament has no right to demand of the elected and popular Prime Minister, his cabinet and the Chief Minister of Punjab to tender their resignations.
He said there was no mission of Inqilab March and sit-in of Alama Tahir-ul-Qadri and his party workers in Islamabad except to create anarchy and chaos to fulfill a hidden agenda given by some foreign forces to destabilize the country at the time when it has been put on track of development, progress and prosperity due to dynamic policies of the incumbent government.
PML-N Balochistan leader and senior leader of Anjuman Tajran Quetta, Naseer Khan Tareen said that some hidden forces backed Alama Tahir-ul-Qadri to damage democracy and peace as the PML-N led incumbent government has implemented the policies and programs to steer the country out of financial crisis and promote national harmony among all provinces.
He said that the nation stood by the incumbent government, parliament and the elected representative and it rejected the failed politicians like that Alama Tahir-ul-Qadri.
Another leader of PML-N Balochistan, Ghulam Dastagir Khan Kakar said that it is PML-N government which earned good name by boosting national economy, strengthening democracy, taking stern actions against terrorism and restoring law and order.
