Taekwondo delegation named.

AL DOY Olympic Centre named its delegation for the YeongCheon First International Clubs Open Taekwondo Championships 2010, set to take place in South Korea from July 5 to 13.

The delegation, to be headed by Fahad Al Dossary, consists of team manager Ali Janahi, coach Abdulla Al Doy and 12 fighters competing in three age categories - under-14, juniors and seniors.

More than 2,000 fighters, representing 50 countries from across the world, will take part in the week-long event. Leading the participants are some of the top fighters from hosts South Korea besides Thailand, Japan, the Philippines, Taiwan, China, Iran, the US, France, Italy, UK, Mexico, Canada and Australia.

The Bahrain team include Ahmed Al Ka'abi (under-54kg) and Mohammed Khalid (under-74kg) in the men's seniors and Reem Abdulla (under-42) and Najma Buallai (under-57kg) in the women's junior section.

In the under-14 boys event, Bahrain will be represented by Hadi Nasser (under-33kg), Faisal Ao Dossary (under-35kg), Yousef Al Janahi (under-36kg), Hussain Al Belooshi (under-39kg) and Omar Janahi (under-40kg).

In the junior boys' section are Omar Abdulrahim (under-51kg), Sanad Jamal (under-55kg) and Khalid Al Kuwari (under-73kg).
