TWO EXPERTS JOIN TO FORM EXECUTIVE SEARCH FIRM FOR NON-PROFITS
ATLANTA, June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Bill Tipping and Jon McRae have merged their experience to form an executive search firm focusing on senior positions in the non-profit sector nationwide.
This new firm, Tipping and McRae, Inc., is the only search firm in the South working primarily with non-profit organizations.
Tipping came to Atlanta in 1988 to serve as CEO of the American Cancer Society, moving the headquarters from New York City to Atlanta. He was responsible for re-staffing, reorganizing and helping to set a new strategic direction for this major national non-profit. Previously, for 12 years, he was partner and managing partner of Heidrick and Struggles in Chicago, an international executive search firm. In that role he recruited across all sectors, devoting much of his search effort to higher education.
McRae is in his 25th year as an executive search consultant, practicing in Charlotte, N.C., and in Atlanta. He has a positive record of successfully completed assignments with a particularly strong practice in banking, education and various non-profit institutions.
"In this time of strengthened oversight by non-profit boards, of heavy pressures on resources, and of closer investigation into the role of staff, this firm provides qualified counsel in the selection and retention of superior executives," Tipping said.
