TWIN CITIES' RADISSON HOTELS GEAR UP TO HOST SUPER BOWL XXVI GUESTS
 MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Radisson Hotels International's championship team of eight hotels in the greater Twin Cities' area (including Rochester and St. Cloud, Minn.) is gearing up to host Super Bowl XXVI with a variety of special activities planned to capture the spirit of Minnesota hospitality.
 The Minneapolis-based Radisson Hotels International will be the largest host hotel company of the Super Bowl with its six hotels in the Twin Cities metro area plus hotels in nearby Rochester and St. Cloud, offering nearly 2,500 total guest rooms.
 The company's involvement will range from housing the actual Super Bowl team participants to hosting a chronically ill child from Canada who will be attending the game as a result of a "dream come true" from the World of Dreams Foundation of Canada. Over 1,600 Radisson employees will be involved in thousands of hospitality activities during the week- long series of Super Bowl events including placing a message on the pillow of each player prior to game day.
 Radisson chefs under the direction of Radisson Hotel and Conference Center Executive Chef Jim Nadeau will create a spectacular "Mount Rushmore" style ice sculpture featuring the faces of the CBS broadcast crew. The sculpture will be sculpted on the lake at Carlson Center in the Minneapolis suburb of Minnetonka. The company is also sponsoring the "Game Day Super Shuttle" buses expected to shuttle more than 60,000 fans to and from the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome from more than 100 locations on game day.
 All Radisson employees in the Twin Cities area has been called into action to meet the hospitality needs of fans, NFL officials, team owners, news media and guests from around the nation and the world who will be visiting Minnesota for this important sporting event.
 The activities begin on Friday, Jan. 17, with the "Great Minnesota Warm Up," a series of super winter events designed by the Super Bowl XXVI Task Force. Radisson hotels will offer specially reduced rates to Minnesota residents to entice them to take part in the festivities. The hotels will all be decorated with an array of balloons and banners for the week.
 Following is a brief overview of some of the activities taking place at Radisson Hotels:
 RADISSON HOTEL AND CONFERENCE CENTER
 Located in the Minneapolis suburb of Plymouth, the 243-room hotel will offer a spectacular Super Sunday Champagne Brunch from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. featuring a magnificent array of specialities from NFL cities, like New England Clam Chowder, New Orleans catfish, Chicago deep-dish Lasagna, beautifully displayed amidst brilliant ice sculptures. Cost: Adults - $14.95; Children - $7.95.
 Executive Chef Jim Nadeau, renowned for his ice sculptures, will be instrumental in creating ice sculptures for the St. Paul Winter Carnival display and for specially commissioned works for private parties. The hotel will house many of the NFL owners.
 RADISSON HOTEL METRODOME
 Located on the University of Minnesota campus within minutes of downtown Minneapolis and the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, the 308-room hotel will host CBS Sports Production, Sports Illustrated and IBM.
 A tailgate party will be created in the lobby of the hotel featuring big screen televisions. Dinner and drink specials will be offered in the hotel's restaurants, Meadows and McCormick's.
 RADISSON HOTEL MINNEAPOLIS WEST
 Located in the Minneapolis suburb of Minnetonka just minutes from downtown, the 222-room hotel will offer a special $49.00 "Great Minnesota Warm Up" rate from Friday, Jan. 17 through Sunday, Jan. 19, targeted to entice outstate Minnesotans to come to the city to experience the Super Bowl events.
 The hotel will host the guests of numerous corporations. Kristy's Restaurant will be offering luncheon and dinner specials and Whisper's Lounge will offer special drink promotions, drawings and a big screen television.
 RADISSON HOTEL SOUTH AND PLAZA TOWER
 Located in the Minneapolis suburb of Bloomington near the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport, the 575-room hotel will host the National Football Conference (NFC) Championship Team in addition to a host of private parties and media facilities in its extensive convention facilities.
 The hotel's Garden Court area will feature a Super Sunday Champagne Brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26. Cost: Adults - $15.95; Children - $8.95.
 RADISSON PLAZA HOTEL MINNEAPOLIS
 Located in downtown Minneapolis and linked to the renowned Minneapolis skyway system, the elegant 357-room hotel is in the heart of the action hosting top National Football League (NFL) and CBS personnel.
 The hotel will be the hub of Super Bowl activities hosting numerous private parties and the lobby will be transformed into a festive lounge atmosphere.
 RADISSON HOTEL ST. PAUL
 Located in downtown St. Paul overlooking the Mississippi River, the 475-room hotel is situated amidst all of the activities surrounding the 106-year-old St. Paul Winter Carnival, which promises to be bigger and better than ever. The hotel's LeCarrousel revolving restaurant high atop the hotel overlooks the magnificent Winter Carnival Ice Palace. Two telescopes will be placed in the restaurant, affording viewers a spectacular view of the striking ice and neon structure.
 The hotel will host the American Football Conference (AFC) Championship team and numerous private functions.
 At the special request of the World of Dreams Foundation of Canada, the Radisson Hotel St. Paul is hosting Joshua Wyse, a 17-year-old boy from Toronto who is chronically ill with Duchenes muscular dystrophy. The World of Dreams Foundation attempts to provide the dreams of children who are terminally, critically or chronically ill.
 Joshua's dream is to attend Super Bowl XXVI in Minneapolis with his parents. The NFL provided three tickets to the game and American Airlines provided complimentary airfare.
