TWENTIETH CENTURY FOX AND THE MOVIE GROUP REACH AGREEMENT ON 'BEST OF THE BEST 2'

 LOS ANGELES, March 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Twentieth Century Fox and The Movie Group (AMEX: IMV) have reached an agreement whereby Fox will release The Movie Group's "Best of the Best 2" in a wide release on March 5, it was jointly announced today by Strauss Zelnick, president and chief operating officer, Twentieth Century Fox, and Peter E. Strauss, president, The Movie Group. Fox is also acting as the film's domestic video and television distributor, while The Movie Group is completing its release plans with independent distributors in virtually all foreign territories.
 Commented Strauss, "The Movie Group considers the Fox release a watershed event for the company in that it will be its first nationwide domestic release by a major studio. If all parties are satisfied with the results, this may lead to future domestic theatrical opportunities for The Movie Group's pictures."
 In "Best of the Best 2," a sequel to 1989's "Best of the Best," which was a worldwide video hit, two karate champions (Eric Roberts and Phillip Rhee) find themselves in a fight for their lives as they battle the world's deadliest martial artist (Ralph Moeller), who has killed their friend and teammate (Christopher Penn) in an underground Las Vegas fighting tournament. The film also stars Wayne Newton and Meg Foster. Produced by Strauss and Rhee, the film was directed by Robert Radler.
 The Movie Group presents Eric Roberts in "Best of the Best 2," starring Phillip Rhee, Christopher Penn, Ralph Moeller, Meg Foster and Wayne Newton. "Best of the Best 2" is directed by Robert Radler and produced by Peter E. Strauss and Phillip Rhee. The co-producers are Marlon Staggs and Deborah Scott, and the executive producers are Frank Giustra and Peter E. Strauss. The screenplay is written by Max Strom and John Allen Nelson.
