Dawn Gibson: "Why don't they just start selling sawdust as a breakfast? They'll start using sweeteners next like aspartame. That is worse for you than sugar and would mean a huge amount of people won't be able to eat it because it causes them migraines."

Lis Farraday: "I want to live in a world where I can eat what I like, not to be told by the government."

Debbie Smails: "What a joke! Might need to stock up!" Amanda Robson: "Just go to Asda and clear the shelves!" Dean Verdin: "When will this nanny state ever stop? I don't need the nanny state to make my choices for me."

Paul Bainbridge: "I hope Captain Rik gets a decent redundancy package then."
