Work is well under way on a multi -million pound pro ject to build a triple-decker roundabout at the SILVERLINK JUNCTION IN NORTH TYNESIDE. THE PS75M PROGRAMME BY HIGHWAYS ENGLAND AIMS TO CUT JOURNEY TIMES, REDUCE CONGESTION AND IMPROVE SAFETY FOR THOUSANDS OF DRIVERS WHO USE THE JUNCTION DAILY.
Liam McCready:"They spend PS75million on something that wasn't broken in the first place, all the while they are starving to death the sick and disabled by cutting and stopping their much needed benefits."
Christopher Marshall: "Seriously, how long has this been going on for now?" Graeme Warton: "There is only one other like this in the country, it's not lego bricks people. Obviously you are all experienced construction workers who have the knowledge on how things of this scale are done, give them a break man."
Ivan Kalot: "I have wasted so much time sitting in traffic jams while this gets built I doubt very much that I will save the same amount of time when it is finally built. They will probably slap a 50mph limit on the whole coast road afterwards like they have done in Gateshead around Team valley and the Metrocentre. Hey, here's an idea - why don't we all go back to horse and cart."
