Lee Winter: "I know Ashley has a bad reputation at Newcastle, but it was Cabaye that wanted to leave and has done for some time now. My only worry is they won't use the money wisely, but still time in the window."

Lorna Hinds: "All the best Yohan, you have been a loyal man to our team, good luck for the future."

Arthur Young: "He's made his money, it's why aye Cabaye."

Deano Storey: "Good luck Cabaye. Mike Ashley, right before a derby game? What are you playing at?" Daniel Heads: "He's a top asset and has been a great servant. Good luck."

Caroline Stephenson: "Good luck with the rest of your career - hope you do well at PSG but you will be a big miss at NUFC!" Angela Lawton-Woodhall: "It gets to be something when this is another year they have sold one of our best players. The team he is going to can give more than what Newcastle will ever give. All the best to him."

Carol Fowler: "Cheers for the goal at Old Trafford, best away day I've had!" Kay Jessica Howarth: "Good luck to him, however, Mike Ashley is only interested in making money and uses the club to get it. Never had the club's interests at heart."

Michelle Trott: "Good luck Cabaye, if we ever see you again at St James' I will applaud you for the time you were here. Shame on NUFC though, selling our best player."

Andrew Jobling: "Don't blame you Yohan, if I were in your position with your talent I'd move on too."
