TVs and child's scooter stolen.

A CHILD'S scooter, flatscreen TVs and a range of computers and tablets have been stolen in a spate of burglaries in the Stock-Stockton borough.

Police have noticed a trend with burglars targeting several homes in Park-ing Park field and Oxbridge in Stockton, Thornaby and Norton.

Streets targeted are Densham Street, Weddell Court, Honeysuckle Court, Commondale Avenue, Ashton Road and Willow Sage Court.

Entry has been gained by smashing rear patio doors or rear windows or by insecure premises where doors had been left unlocked.

A range of items have been stolen from flatscreen TVs, iPads and laptops to a child's electric scooter.

On the back of this spate of burglaries, police are warning residents to be extra vigilant and to ensure that all doors and windows are locked at all times.

If you see anyone acting suspiciously, or if you know anything about any crime in your area, call the police on the non-emergency number 101.
