A real bargain..so you better be quick

THE BOYS SAY:

FOR the past few weeks weOve been living in rural Wiltshire presenting The Farm and surrounded by chocolate-box cottages like this one. One near where weOve been staying recently sold for pounds 100,000 MORE than this one. So just move county to Worcestershire and you can get a bargain. For the price of a London studio or a standard two-bed in most British cities you get something thatOs absolutely gorgeous. Traditionally black and white and set in manicured gardens itOs been well maintained by the current owners and has a central heating system fired by a combi boiler. Factor in an inglenook fireplace, exposed beams and a thatched roof and it all becomes very exciting.

But before you sign on the dotted line, remember insurance for properties such as this can be pricey. And it is Grade II-listed which means making alterations may prove rather complicated. But with an OFSTED-recommended school nearby, as well as good inns and transport links, it could be a perfect place to raise a small family. But you had better be quick...
