TV stardom is big draw.

A HUSBAND and wife animation team hope to grow their business after their colourful characters appeared on television.

Stockton-based Talib and Sarah Kadhim set up Back 2 Front Animation three years ago after meeting at the University of Northampton, where they studied animation together, and have now made it on to the NickToons children's TV channel.

The couple produced a series of six short films for the channel featuring a range of weird and wacky characters and now hope to secure similar work in the new year as a result of their higher profile.

The company is gearing up for Christmas and has been asked to create a range of corporate Christmas cards for some of its clients and has just completed a series of animated ads for Newcastle-based solicitors BenhoareBell.

Mr Kadhim, who is originally from Billingham, said: "We've always been a massive fan of Nickelodeon and had often thought about approaching them with our work.

"When they approached us earlier this year after seeing our taster online we were so excited.

"Now we have worked with such a big player in the children's TV market, we hope to be able to create a buzz about our work.

"What we do is very character based and we make no bones about it as it is what we love doing."
