TV production company signs 72,000 sf lease.

Modern Telecommunications Inc., a television and entertainment company, has signed a lease for 72,000 square-feet of space at 401 Fifth Avenue, the former Tiffany building, announced Newmark Real Estate Services, the building's exclusive leasing agent.

Modern Telecommunications, Inc., currently housed in a number of Manhattan locations, will expand its offices on the top four floors of 401 Fifth Avenue. Among the firm's most recent projects, it is providing the broadcast facilities for the upcoming "Ricki Lake Show."

Jim Peters and Michael Lenchner of Sage Group Associates represented the tenant in this 10-year deal. Ron Zimmerman of Newmark is the exclusive leasing agent for 401 Fifth Avenue.

According to Zimmerman, 401 Fifth Avenue features above average ceiling heights of 15-feet - going up to 28-feet on the top floor. three base floors are now available in 401 Fifth Avenue, a landmark building located at Fifth Avenue and 37th Street.
