A night dedicated to the comic starts with an affectionate mickey-take of reality talent shows, featuring Pop Idol judges Pete Waterman, Nicki Chapman and Neil Fox plus host Cat Deeley. Kay, left, does a drag act.Look out for the results show at 10.15pm.

STEPHEN FRY IN AMERICA Tonight, BBC1, 9pm

The comic, actor and host visits all 50 US states in a black cab. He starts with New England. The six-part series is personal for Fry who would have grown up American if his father had accepted a job there just before he was born.

WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE? Tuesday, ITV, 8pm

Good to know somebody still has money to give away and more people than usual will be cheering on the punters lucky enough to get in the hot-seat as host Chris Tarrant asks the questions which could make them millionaires.
