The event is from 1.30pm and the 20-20 cricket match will begin at 3.30pm Clr Dodds, a veteran of the Royal Signals, said: "There are 9,000 ex-service personnel living rough in Britain because of their experiences on active service, they have fought our wars and we now need to fight their battles.

"The Royal British Legion needs PS100m every year to look after the growing number of ex-service personnel who need our help."
