TV blunder over dead Bee Gee.

Byline: ADAM LEE-POTTER

A TV presenter made a huge gaffe when he quizzed Bee Gee Robin Gibb about his dead brother's affair with Barbara Windsor... asking: "Is Maurice watching this now?" A shocked Robin, 60, told Sky News anchor Steve Dixon: "No, Maurice died seven years ago."

Dixon, clearly mortified at his howler live on air, quickly explained that he was confused because there were "so many" Gibb brothers. There were four - three of whom were in the Bee Gees.

The gaffe happened late on Friday night when singer Robin was reviewing the Saturday papers which revealed Barbara's confession that she once romped with Maurice, who died in 2003 aged 53.

The former EastEnders star, now 73, revealed all to Piers Morgan for a show screened on ITV1 last night. A Sky spokesman said: "These things happen on live TV."
