TV IRELAND: DOCUMENTARY DIARY OF A DEBUTANTE TV3, 8pm.

WHEN you are 18, the Debs seems like one of the most important nights of your life. In this programme a member of the Travelling community, a Latvian immigrant and a posh Dublin 4 girl prepare for their big day.

The documentary captures the highs and lows as these three girls prepare for their Debs. Settled Traveller Charlene Reilly from Dundalk, Latvian Rita Cernavska, who now lives in Cork, and Mica Murphy, who shares an upmarket apartment on Haddington Road, open their lives in the run-up to their Debs. The programme follows the girls through their daily lives as they get their results, worry about their futures, and plan the big night.

The documentary aims to give people a glimpse into the different ways of life in Ireland. Not to be missed.
