TURNER STEINER INTERNATIONAL ASSIGNS KEY EXECUTIVES

 NEW YORK, Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert W. Nilsson has been named president and chief executive officer of Turner Steiner International (TSI). Mr. Nilsson was previously vice chairman and managing director of the company. TSI is owned equally by The Turner Corporation (AMEX: TUR) and Karl Steiner Holding Corporation of Zurich, Switzerland. Its main line of business is providing construction management services worldwide.
 In addition, Robert Kidney has been named vice president and operations manager reporting to Mr. Nilsson. Mr. Kidney was previously vice president and operations manager of Turner Construction Company's New York territory.
 Nicholas E. Billotti was promoted to manager-Middle East reporting to Mr. Nilsson. Previously, Mr. Billotti served as TSI's director of business development. It was also announced that Nick Locher has been appointed deputy managing director-Europe reporting to Mr. Nilsson.
 TSI was formed in July 1992 to allow the parent companies to better serve their respective clients and, by drawing on the resources of both companies, to better meet the predicted growth in international construction opportunities. Currently, TSI has projects underway in Kuwait, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Japan, the United Kingdom, Berlin and Brussels.
 Karl Steiner Holding Corporation, the largest builder in Switzerland, is an exclusively family-owned company headquartered in Zurich with subsidiaries in France, Germany, Italy and Austria. During 1992, the Steiner group had consolidated invoiced sales of $690 million (SF1,011 million).
 The Turner Corporation, through Turner Construction Company and other construction subsidiaries, is the nation's leading builder of healthcare, institutional, retail, commercial, industrial, manufacturing, interiors, biotech/pharmaceutical, research and development/laboratories, government building and multi-unit residential projects.
