 TURNER CONSTRUCTION TO BUILD $150M CAPITOL TOWER PROJECT IN COLUMBUS
 NEW YORK, April 23 /PRNewswire/ -- The Turner Corporation (AMEX: TUR) today announced that the Columbus, Ohio, office of its major subsidiary, Turner Construction Company, will proceed with the construction of the Capitol Tower project on South 3rd Street in downtown Columbus for a joint venture of the Galbreath Company and the Dispatch Printing Company, both of Columbus.
 The 42-story tower will have a total project cost of $150 million. Bank One Corporation and the Columbus law firm of Vorys Sater Seymour and Pease will be the major tenants. The architect is Stubbins and Associates of Cambridge, Mass.
 Alfonso P. Sanchez, executive vice president of Turner Construction Company for its Central Division, remarked, "We are very pleased that Bank One has chosen to locate operations in the tower so the project can proceed. Capitol Tower is a symbol of the strong viability of the central Ohio market and the fantastic community spirit that exists in this city. Naturally, we are pleased to be working with our old friend, the Galbreath Company."
 With a relationship dating back more than 50 years, Turner has built more than 80 projects for the Galbreath Company, including two Hyatt hotels, the Capitol South office building, the Bank One Center in Cleveland, and numerous projects in New York and Florida.
 The Columbus office was established in 1964 and presently has the Columbus Convention Center and the State of Ohio Prime Site Computer Center under way.
 The Turner Corporation, through Turner Construction Company and other construction subsidiaries, is the nation's largest builder of commercial, industrial, hospital and healthcare, institutional, retail, government building and multi-unit housing projects. Operating through more than 35 offices, Turner has construction projects under way throughout the United States and abroad. During 1991, the Turner Corporation completed $2.7 billion of construction.
