TURKEY-MUSIC -Turkey to host legendary rock guitarists.

ANKARA, May 16, 2011 (TUR) -- Turkey will host two important rock guitarists Uli Jon Roth and Marty Friedman.

German guitarist Uli Jon Roth will perform at Istanbul's Dorock Bar on May 19, and Ankara's Nedjima on May 20.

Ulrich Roth (born in 1954), more commonly known as Uli Jon Roth, is a German guitarist and one of the earliest contributors to the neo-classical metal genre. He is also the founder of Sky Academy and inventor of the Sky Guitar. He began his music career in "Scorpions" and then continued in "Electric Sun". Roth joined G3 tour with Joe Satriani and Michael Schenker in 1998.

Marty Friedman will take stage in Istanbul on May 22, in Ankara on May 23 and in Izmir on May 24.

Friedman (born in 1962) is a U.S. guitarist, most widely recognized and best known for his tenure as lead/rhythm guitarist for thrash metal band "Megadeth", which lasted close to ten years. He also performed in "Cacophony".
