TURKEY-MATCH-FIXING SCANDAL -Fenerbahce chairman hospitalized as his blood sugar rises.

ISTANBUL, Jul 10, 2011 (TUR) -- Aziz Yildirim, the chairman of Fenerbahce Sports Club, was hospitalized on Saturday after his blood glucose level rose during interrogation at an Istanbul court.

Yildirim was taken to the Sisli Etfal Training and Research Hospital on Saturday after his blood glucose level rose to 240 and could not be dropped when he was being interrogated at Istanbul Criminal Court.

Doctors at hospital said Yildirim's blood glucose level rose, however his sickness was not serious.

Hospital doctors will decide whether or not to discharge Yildirim from hospital after testing his blood glucose levels on Sunday morning.

Yildirim went through an angiography three days ago.

He is being charged with match-fixing in the Spor Toto Super League of Turkey.
