TSYS ANNOUNCES PREPAID DEBIT PROCESSING AGREEMENT WITH FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY

 COLUMBUS, Ga., May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Total System Services, Inc. (NYSE: TSS), the Columbus, Ga.-based bankcard data processing company, announced that it has been chosen by Florida State University to provide processing services for the FSUCard.
 The FSUCard is a private label, prepaid debit card that is accepted by over 300 merchants in the Tallahassee, Fla., area. In addition, the card can be used at all HONOR and PLUS ATMs. Currently over 38,000 students, faculty and staff at FSU have the FSUCard. TSYS has joined with two other subsidiaries of Synovus Financial Corp. (NYSE: SNV), Columbus Bank & Trust Company and Tallahassee State Bank, who will issue the card, to implement this program at Florida State.
 Commenting on the announcement, Andrew W.
