TSS LTD. REPORTS SIGNING OF AGREEMENT WITH KMART FOR LAUNCH OF IN-STORE ELECTRONIC MARKETING PROGRAM

 PROVIDENCE, R.I., Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- TSS Ltd. (NASDAQ: TSSL) announced today that it had executed a licensing agreement with Kmart Corporation (NYSE: KM) under which TSS will market advertising and promotion participation as part of Kmart's in-store electronic marketing program.
 The Kmart program features a free-standing kiosk terminal located inside the entrance to Kmart stores which allows customers to obtain coupons and other promotional offers, and is modeled on a pilot program recently completed with TSS under the name "Blue Light Special Coupons." Initially, the new program is targeted to launch this winter in approximately 425 stores; determination of an installation schedule for additional stores within the 2,400 store Kmart chain will be made at a later date.
 Under the terms of the agreement, TSS will be responsible for marketing eight of the 32 availability monthly promotional slots and will solicit program participation from non-competing national and regional marketers.
 In announcing the agreement, Michael Clark, president of TSS, said: "We are pleased to be part of Kmart's expansion of this important program. Following two years of testing, we believe Kmart's decision provides important testimony to the potential value of this in-store promotion concept and execution."
 Additionally, TSS announced it had appointed Deborah Ferro as vice president of National Network Media. Her responsibilities will include marketing and sales of the TSS portion of the Kmart program.
