TRINOVA'S AEROQUIP NAMES DAN KIMMET GROUP VICE PRESIDENT OF ITS AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS GROUP

 MAUMEE, Ohio, July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Daniel E. Kimmet has been promoted to group vice president - Automotive Products Group for Aeroquip Corporation, a TRINOVA (NYSE: TNV) company. In this position, Kimmet is responsible for Aeroquip's worldwide automotive operations. Most recently group vice president of Aeroquip's Aerospace Group, he is a member of the Aeroquip Management Committee and continues to report to Howard Selland, president of Aeroquip and executive vice president of TRINOVA.
 Kimmet replaces Jeffrey Miller who has left the company. In a related announcement, Stephen C. Schwab, formerly director - engineering services venture for Aeroquip, has been named to replace Kimmet as group vice president of the Aerospace Group.
 Kimmet, 44, was named group vice president of the Aerospace Group in 1990 with responsibility for Aeroquip's North American and European aerospace operations. Prior to that he had been vice president & general manager of the Aerospace Division since 1989. He was named general manager of the Aerospace Division in 1988 after serving as Van Wert operations manager - Aeroquip Industrial Products Division since 1987. He had been engineering manager for the Industrial Products Division since 1976, having joined Aeroquip in 1974 as engineering coordinator for the division.
 Kimmet holds bachelor and master of science degrees in mechanical engineering from Ohio State University and has completed the Management Program for Executives at the University of Pittsburgh.
