TRIBUNE OPERATING DATA FOR SIXTH PERIOD, SECOND QUARTER AND YEAR TO DATE
 CHICAGO, July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Consolidated revenues for Tribune Co. (NYSE: TRB) were up 2.6 percent for the sixth period, the four weeks ending June 28, with revenues for newspapers up 3.8 percent and broadcasting and entertainment up 7.0 percent, the company announced today. Newsprint revenues were down 26 percent.
 For the period, advertising revenues for newspapers were up 3.8 percent. Television advertising revenues from the seven stations, including WPHL, was up 4.0 percent, radio up 4.0 percent and entertainment up 16.7 percent.
 Operating data for the period, second quarter and year-to-date are as follows:
