TRAVEL READERS SAY ALASKA BEST U.S. AIRLINE -- AGAIN
SEATTLE, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Readers of Conde Nast Traveler

magazine have for the fourth consecutive year voted Alaska Airlines the nation's best carrier, magazine officials announced yesterday, according to Alaska Airlines.
Traveler, one of the nation's premier travel publications, asked its readers to rate airlines on scheduling, punctuality, cabin service and in-flight meals.
"This is a bright spot in an otherwise dismal year for the airline industry," said Pat Glenn, Alaska executive vice president and chief operating

officer. "It's a real tribute to the 6,600 people who work at Alaska Airlines."
Winners of the monthly magazine's annual Readers' Choice Awards were announced at the American Society of Travel Agents' world congress in Cairo, Egypt. Glenn was on hand to accept the award.
Seattle-based Alaska Airlines serves 42 cities in Alaska, Mexico, Russia and five Western states.
