TRANS PACIFIC GROUP INC. ACQUIRES NATIONAL DATA-SEARCH INC.
SAN DIEGO, June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Trans Pacific Group Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: TPCG), a Utah publicly held corporation, headquartered in San Diego, announced today that it had completed the acquisition of 100 percent of the stock of National Data-Search Inc., a Nevada corporation, also headquartered in San Diego. National Data-Search is a comprehensive supplier of public record information on a nationwide basis. Networking with more than 1,400 databases to provide information on missing persons, location of assets and background knowledge on individuals and businesses across the country. National Data-Search provides excellence to its client base in confidentiality, service, quality of information and professionalism. The client base is extensive, including law firms, collection agencies, private investigators, property managers and a wide variety of employers. The terms of the transaction called for Trans Pacific Group to issue 500,000 shares of its common stock to the shareholders of National Data-Search in exchange for their shares. Trans Pacific Group is a financial service and real estate holding company. As of March 31, 1993, the end of the first quarter, Trans Pacific listed $5,447,637 in assets, $3,098,229 in liabilities and a shareholders' equity of $2,242,852. The company also reported first quarter pretax earnings of $106,556 on 6,651,000 shares outstanding.
