TRAINING COURSE IN DENTAL IMPLANTS SCHEDULED FOR ST. LOUIS ON MAY 23

ST. LOUIS, Mo., April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- An advanced training seminar on dental implant technology emphasizing the Swiss-Precision Ha-Ti(TM) Step-Screw Dental Implant System will be conducted by the Dr. Robert Mathys Foundation on Sunday, May 23, at the St. Louis Marriott West.
The one-day comprehensive prosthetic training course is aimed at the general dental practitioner and prosthodontist and prepares them for immediate restorative clinical applications using the Ha-Ti system.
The course will begin at 9 a.m. There is no tuition for attending the one day prosthetic training course since it is the first time this course has been offered in St. Louis. However, there is a $50 registration fee to cover administrative costs. Registration and further information can be obtained by calling 1-800-328-3965 or 704-556-9002.
Dental implant courses are presented by certified lecturers of the Dr. Robert Mathys Foundation throughout the United States to qualify and certify surgeons, restoring dentists and dental technicians on how to integrate dental implantology and the Ha-Ti system from Mathys Corporation into their respective practices. The appropriate courses must be successfully completed before any components in the Ha-Ti product line can be purchased.
According to the seminar organizers, the courses are aimed at general dentists, prosthodontists, surgeons and lab technicians wanting to expand their practice or service by offering implants to their patients as an alternative to bridges and other prosthetic restorations.
The recently introduced Swiss Precision Ha-Ti step screw precision dental implant system is unique in regard to implant surface structure and design. It incorporates a building block approach coupled with a press fit design that maximizes implant to superstructure cleansability and provides precision margins as low as 1 to 4 microns. Although newly available in the U.S., the Ha-Ti system was first placed eight years ago in Switzerland and since then has been successfully placed throughout Europe, Asia and The Far East. The Ha-Ti system was developed in 1984 by Philippe Ledermann, Robert Mathys and Rolf Frischherz.
