 TRADE ASSOCIATION FOR INSULATION MANUFACTURERS NOW CALLED NAIMA
 WASHINGTON, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The 59-year-old Mineral Insulation Manufacturers Association (MIMA) has changed its name to North American Insulation Manufacturers Association (NAIMA), a trade association for manufacturers of fiber glass, rock wool and slag wool insulation products, NAIMA Executive Vice President Ken Mentzer announced today.
 According to Mentzer, NAIMA has expanded its membership as well as its mission. In order to better serve the insulation industry and its clients, NAIMA will pool resources and give the industry a single voice with a comprehensive mission.
 Mentzer said, "NAIMA's mission is to promote energy efficiency and environmental preservation through the use of fiber glass, rock wool and slag wool insulation products -- and to encourage the safe production and use of insulation products."
 NAIMA represents manufacturers of fiber glass, rock wool and slag wool insulation products in North America. Its members include Celotex Corporation, CertainTeed Corporation, Knauf Fiber Glass, Manville Corporation, Owens-Corning Fiberglas Corporation, Partek Insulations Incorporated, Rock Wool Manufacturing Company, Roxul Incorporated, USG Interiors Incorporated, U.S. Mineral Products Company and Western Fiberglass Incorporated.
