TRACY MASINGTON PROMOTED TO DIRECTOROF NATIONAL PUBLICITY FOR UNIVERSAL PICTURES

 UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Tracy Masington has been promoted to director of national publicity for Universal Pictures, effective immediately, it was announced today by Bruce R. Feldman, senior vice president of marketing, national, publicity and promotion.
 Reporting to Alan Sutton, vice president of national publicity, Masington will be responsible for planning and implementing national publicity campaigns in all media in support of Universal's motion pictures slate.
 Masington most recently was manager of national publicity, having joined the company in 1988 as a senior publicist. During her tenure at Universal she has worked on the publicity campaigns for such films as "Jurassic Park," "Scent of a Woman," "Fried Green Tomatoes," "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story," "Field of Dreams" and "Do the Right Thing," among others.
 Prior to joining Universal, Masington was an account executive with Bender, Goldman & Helper Public Relations/Marketing Communications. Previously she was West Coast publicist/writer for De Laurentiis Entertainment Group.
