 TRACER PETROLEUM ANNOUNCES ASD NO. 8 WELL COMPLETED
 VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Tracer Petroleum


Corporation (NASDAQ: TCXXF; Vancouver: TCP) announced today in Vancouver the results of the ASD No. 8 well in the Air Serdang Field, Ogan Komering Block, South Sumatra, Indonesia.
 The ASD No. 8 well was drilled to a total depth of 1,644 meters and encountered oil in the prolific Batu Raja Limestone formation. Production testing resulted in flow of 2,291 barrels of oil per day of 32 degree API gravity crude with 1,120 thousand cubic feet per day of gas on a one inch choke.
 The ASD No. 8 well was drilled to continue the appraisal and development of the Air Serdang Field. First production from the Air Serdang field is scheduled to commence later in 1992.
 Operations in the Ogan Komering Block and the Air Serdang Field are conducted under a joint venture arrangement with Pertamina, the state oil company of Indonesia.
 Tracer owns a 4.25 percent fully carried working interest in the Air Serdang Field and the Ogan Komering Block.
