TPI introduces the new TPI 95B Digital Loop Analyzer.

GERMANTOWN, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 12, 1996--TPI (Tele-Path Instruments), a division of TTC, is pleased to announce the latest generation of the TPI 95B Digital Loop Analyzer.

The TPI 95B provides a complete, portable testing solution for Digital Data Service (DDS) and other Digital Services.

The enhanced test capabilities of the TPI 95B allow service technicians the ability to quickly verify service quality, to resolve problems reliably, and to maintain circuit integrity from the customer premise to the central office.

The TPI 95B's portable design, a graphics-capable LCD, and easy-to-operate keypad combined with a rich features set make this a complete digital loop analyzer. The TPI 95B offers the following options and capabilities for complete services and facilities turn-up testing: -0-
-- Digital Local Loop Service and 4-Wire Switched 56 Service The
 TPI 95B accomplishes BERT and loopback testing and bit error rate
 testing for both primary and secondary channels independently or
 simultaneously. The instrument also provides CSU and DSU loopback
 modes and can generate V.54 loopback commands.


-- DS0 Central Office Testing -- The TPI 95B initiates loopback
 commands and conducts sectionalized bit error rate testing from the
 central office


-- TIMS and Metallic/Lead Coil Testing -- Accomplishes insertion
 loss testing (level testing) at all standard DS0 and sub-rate test
 frequencies as well as background and impulse noise testing. Cable
 pairs may be "shorted" or a 135 termination can be placed on
 transmit and receive pairs in addition to lead coil testing.


 Options Include:


-- DOV (Data Over Voice by INC) 2-Wire service testing, loopback
 and BERT testing


-- Switched 56 2-Wire DataPath service testing which allows the
 user to establish a call and conduct loopback and BERT testing


-- DS1 (TI) access to a selected DS0 channel


-- Full T1 and Fractional T1 BERT and loopback testing-0-
