TPE profile extrusion lines.

The straightforward, eco-friendly process implemented by the company's thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) processing lines ensures uniform, high quality, excellent physical properties and high dimensional accuracy in the finished product, according to this 12-page, four-color brochure. The firm's spectrum of supplies and services related to TPE processing ranges from compounding and profile extrusion, all the way to film production. All these processes are said to be performed with absolutely reproducible precision in the company's twin screw extruders. Their modular design is said to enable these machines to be optimally adapted to the process task. To produce compact or foamed TPE profiles, the company's TE extruders only need TPE pellets, a pigment masterbatch (if required) and a blowing agent for foaming. TPE monoprofile and coextrusion lines are also described, along with a rubber-TPE hybrid extrusion system. (Berstorff USA) www.berstorff.de
