TOYOTA TO RAISE PRICES ON 1993 MODELS

TORRANCE, Calif., Jan. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A. Inc. announced today it will increase the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Prices (MSRP) on its 1993 cars and trucks an average of 1.2 percent, or approximately $175. Option prices and destination charges remain unchanged.
The price increases, effective Feb. 5, are a result of increased costs in operations and manufacturing.
Because they are new models, the 93 Corolla and T100 pickup truck are not affected by the price increases.
