TOYOTA COMPLETES $10-MILLION EXPANSION OF AIRFLITE
 LONG BEACH, Calif., Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- A $10-million

expansion of AirFlite, Toyota's fixed-base operation, has been completed at the Long Beach Airport.
The expansion is part of a $22-million plus investment to upgrade the AirFlite facility for servicing the general aviation community.
"AirFlite's expansion is another example of Toyota's increasing commitment to the city of Long Beach," Long Beach Mayor Ernie Kell said. "It's most welcome and will go a long way in helping establish Long Beach as a prime service center for the aviation community."
The new facility offers aircraft maintenance and service, corporate jet storage and fueling capabilities. A 36,000-square- foot, four-story general aviation terminal complex serves the needs of the corporate traveler with a flight planning room, pilot lounge, meeting rooms, executive gift shop and other amenities.
"This expansion is part of our long-term strategy," noted Jim Press, chairman and chief executive officer of AirFlite. "It allows us to cater to those corporate travelers whose needs are better met at a well-located, congestion-free airport. As commercial airline traffic increases at Los Angeles International Airport and John Wayne Airport in Newport Beach, Calif., we believe Long Beach will become a more popular destination point."
AirFlite is a subsidiary of Toyota Aviation, U.S.A., which was incorporated in 1988 to function as a holding company for all aviation-related programs.
