TOYOTA ANNOUNCES PRICES FOR CAMRY SE AND '93 MR2
TORRANCE, Calif., Feb. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Toyota Motor Sales (TMS)

U.S.A. Inc. today announced prices for its newest sporty entries. The Camry SE Sport Sedan will have a suggested base price of $18,528 while the 1993 version of the popular MR2 will start at $17,658.
"The Camry SE is an excellent choice for people who are interested in a sporty car, but need the four doors of a sedan," said Bob McCurry, TMS executive vice president. "Meanwhile, the revised '93 MR2 continues Toyota's tradition of providing driving enthusiasts the latest in sports-car technology at an affordable price."
The base model Camry SE Sport Sedan features a five-speed manual transmission, a 3.0L V6 engine, special "V" speed-rated tires mounted on unique 15-inch alloy wheels, five-way adjustable sport seats, and sports suspension. Air conditioning, a driver-side air bag and a tape cassette also are standard. A Camry SE Sport Sedan with four-speed automatic transmission also is available beginning at $19,328.
For 1993, all MR2 and MR2 Turbo models have been revised with larger 15-inch wheels and tires, improved suspension, steering and synchros in the five-speed gear box. In addition, the normally aspirated models will have increased power, alloy wheels, a six-speaker audio system with cassette and power color-keyed outside mirrors as standard equipment.
New for 1993 is an optional Black and Ivory Leather Trim Package, and on Turbo models, an optional viscous limited-slip differential. Base price for the MR2 Turbo will be $20,278.
