TOYOTA'S RALEIGH/DURHAM-AREA RETAIL CAR SALES CLIMB IN AUGUST

 MIAMI, Sept. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Toyota's three Raleigh/Durham-area dealers report a 3 percent increase in retail car sales in August over the same month last year.
 In Southeast Toyota's five-state region, retail car sales in August climbed 20 percent over the year-ago month, producing Southeast Toyota's best August on record for retail car sales.
 "A cautious upswing in consumer confidence has triggered increased showroom traffic," said Pat Moran, president of Southeast Toyota Distributors, Inc. "Clearly, today's value-conscious consumers are seeking quality and reliability."
