TOYOTA'S JACKSONVILLE-AREA RETAIL SALES CLIMB IN JULY

 MIAMI, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Jacksonville-area Toyota dealers report a 24 percent hike in truck sales and a 17 percent gain in car sales in July over the same month last year.
 In Southeast Toyota's five-state region, retail truck sales in July climbed 23 percent over the year-ago month while retail car sales in July advanced 11 percent over the same month last year. Overall, Southeast Toyota posted its strongest month of retail sales since August 1987.
 Nationwide, retail truck sales in July climbed 16 percent over the year-ago month while retail car sales in July advanced two percent over the same month last year.
 Southeast Toyota President Pat Moran cited Toyota's attractive lease and financing programs and Camry's increasing popularity as reasons for the surge in sales.
