TOURS ETC. : TOUR IS OFF TO OKTOBERFEST.

A 10-day trip to Munich's Oktoberfest in September takes in Prague and Pilsen (home of Pilsner beer), Czech Republic and several cities in Austria, including Salzburg and Innsbruck, before arriving in Munich for the annual celebration of beer.

The tour leaves Sept. 21 from Los Angeles; cost is $2,900 per person, double occupancy, and includes accommodations, transportation, breakfasts, several dinners, sightseeing and admission to Oktoberfest events, which include entertainment, crafts and rides. Information: (800) 470-4428.

Royal New York: Performances by two of Great Britain's premier production companies at New York City's Lincoln Center Festival '97 will highlight ``A Weekend With the Royals'' July 24-27.

Among the tickets included in the package offered by IST Cultural Tours: The Royal Ballet, Covent Garden's, performances of ``Cinderella'' and its all-Ravel program; the Royal Opera's production of ``Palestrina''; and a tour of Lincoln Center. Tennis, anyone? The Lodge at Ventana Canyon in Tucson, Ariz., is offering a ``Ventana Tennis'' package for people of all skill levels that includes a private, hourlong lesson with a tennis pro.

The four-night package also includes accommodations, unlimited court time, use of tennis-ball machine and other amenities. Package price for a one-bedroom suite and one tennis player is $515 through Sept. 25; $835 Sept. 26-Oct. 18 and $1,059 Oct. 19-Jan. 10. Seeing Seattle: Want to see Seattle from a different vantage point?

Argosy Cruises of Seattle offers the ``Water, Wings and Wine Tour'' which sails from Chandler's Cove on south Lake Union, cruising through the Hiram Chittenden Locks, Puget Sound and Elliott Bay before docking at Seattle's waterfront. Participants then board a Gray Line bus for a trip to the Columbia Winery in Woodinville, where lunch, a wine tasting and winery tour are on the menu. The tour's finale: a float plane flight over the city with Kenmore Air.
