Byline: SUE CASTLE

SINGING sensation Demi Holborn will get her own playground fan club today after being crowned Britain's Totstar.

Demi, nine, won GMTV's teeny talent contest after judges and viewers were bowled over by her performance. She is back with her classmates today at Pontnewynydd Primary School in the Valleys.

Demi was already a star at the 200-pupil school where she is a regular in plays and concerts.

The budding star pulled in _ a massive 168,000 of the 200,000 votes in a phone-in poll.

Ex-Brookside star Claire Sweeney broke the news to the delighted Holborn family at their home near Cwmbran.

Demi wins a recording contract and a stage school scholarship.

She said: "I love dancing and singing so this is my big chance."
