TORCH ENERGY ADVISORS COMPLETES BASDEN NO. 1-H WELL
HOUSTON, May 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Torch Energy Advisors Incorporated

(Torch) recently completed the Basden No. 1-H horizontal well in Fayette County, Texas, at an initial rate of 2,750 barrels of oil per day with a flowing tubing pressure of 1,850 psig.
Torch owns an 85 percent working interest in this well and the surrounding acreage where at least one additional offset can be drilled. The Basden No. 1-H well was drilled as a dual lateral with two horizontal extensions in opposite directions from the surface location. The two horizontal components of this well extend 2,650 feet and 2,500 feet from the surface location giving the wellbore a total horizontal reach of 5,150 feet. The initial test rate for the Basden No. 1-H well is the best rate observed by Torch on any of the horizontal Austin Chalk wells in which its managed entities have participated.
