TOP IN THE CITY; Ceremony to honour Liverpool's best.


THIS year's annual BBC Radio Merseyside Scouseology Awards are due to take place again on Children In Need night -- November 19.

The awards, which recognise Mersey talent in all fields, are being sponsored again by The Mersey Partnership's Mersey Champions campaign and O2.

They will be held at the Crowne Plaza hotel and will follow a black tie dinner for more than 300 people, including dozens of celebrities.

ECHO readers are again being asked to vote for their favourite Scouse TV personality and the winner will receive their award on the night from the editor in chief, Mark Dickinson.

The awards, which are again being organised by Johnson Young Associates, will be compered by Radio Merseyside's Linda McDermott who will be joined this year by former Brookside actor Dean Sullivan. They are both previous Scouseology winners. To vote in the ECHO's TV personality category, won last year by John McArdle, simply fill in the coupon below and send it to Scouseology Awards, Marketing Department, Liverpool Echo, PO Box 48, Old Hall Street, Liverpool L69 3EB by October 29.
