TOP CRUFTS POOCHES DOGNAPPED; Ozzy doggy breeder targeted by raiders.
A TOP Scots dog breeder, who sold a puppy to Ozzy Osbourne, has had four of her precious pooches pinched.
Crufts winner Astrid Ogilvie was devastated when she got home to find three pomeranians and a Yorkshire terrier had been dognapped.
Thieves broke into the kennels in Larkhall, Lanarkshire, and used boltcutters to break open the padlock to steal the "toy" dogs, which sell for up to pounds 2,000 each.
The 51-year-old has been breeding the dainty dogs for 16 years and sold a pomeranian to rocker Ozzy to give to his wife Sharon as a Christmas present.
Sharon's pomeranian pets often pop-up on cult TV show The Osbournes.
Astrid, who owns about 40 dogs, said that she believed the animals were stolen to order as the raiders targeted the most sought-after pets.
She has now offered a reward for the safe return of Candy, Bun, Lottie and former show dog Fatboy.
She added: "The dogs are my family and are totally irreplaceable. The thieves obviously knew what they were looking for.
"Each dog is an individual and I love them to bits. They've a fabulous nature and are very friendly. I am distraught and have felt like a zombie since they were taken."
The breeder said Ozzy's PR manager had contacted her after being put on the trail of finding a puppy. She said: "Sharon loves pomeranians and they have since been in touch to tell me how much she adores her new dog."
Strathclyde Police said inquiries were continuing into the theft, which happened on Saturday while Miss Ogilvie was at a show.
